ClownLAberlin - Training

The Clown is an extraordinary creature capable of doing exceptional things, a

being from another universe traversed by an energy in constant metamorphosis.

The Clown is a cosmonaut who fearlessly navigates through the unexplored and

secret galaxies of human nature. He lets himself be irradiated by the brightest

and most incandescent stars and then lands in the midst of his audience and

gives them the stardust he has collected on his journey: his most marvellous

show! Wherever he goes, he never loses the intergalactic connection with his

spectators. He cannot, because it is with them and for them that he creates his

show. The Clown is an artistic vehicle for exploring the cosmic complexity of

human existence.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

Explore a magical space where anything is possible!

Use - your inner Clown - a fearless explorer of human nature, bursting with energy, creativity and intergalactic charm. The Clown is not only understood as a creature that can entertain and amuse but, above all, as something capable of raising the level of awareness and consciousness, both for themselves and for others.

Focusing on movement, presence and play, we invite aspiring clowns of all backgrounds:

dancers, actors, theater enthusiasts, circus performers, and curious individuals to embark on a journey to a place where body, heart and mind unite and unleash your potential for joy, freedom and connection.

The intensive Lab revolves around some central questions: “What is a Clown?”, “What draws us to the Clown?”, “Where am I when I am?” and approaches these with three main qualities: Joy, Love and Craziness (“Clown Dynamics Method”).

No prior knowledge is necessary, but physical fitness helps!
